Many women, like me, who have suffered narcissistic abuse experience serious and long-lasting effects, including complex PTSD, emotional trauma, low self-esteem, and feelings of worthlessness. The abuse can involve verbal manipulation, exploitation, and psychological conflict. The constant invalidation and gaslighting can cause you to question your own perception of reality. You may also struggle with trust issues and have difficulty forming healthy relationships, leading to feelings of loneliness and isolation.
The impact of narcissistic abuse can be far-reaching and take a long time to recover from. Talking therapy alone will not eliminate the stress, past trauma, and physical responses held in your body. However, I know from my own personal healing journey that by going within and releasing your inner power to self-heal, combined with brain, mind and body based therapy and coaching, you have the ability to alter your thoughts and emotions and take back control of your life.
Once you understand the root cause of your feelings and beliefs and how they were formed, usually in childhood, you are able to reprogramme those thoughts that have been keeping you stuck, leading to an immense feeling of freedom and inner peace.
